How I got the name
It started with something ordinary: a YouTube Short on my feed — a zookeeper helping animals at the zoo, checking on each one with calm care.
In one clip, a giraffe needed treatment for soreness along its neck. You cannot patch that standing at human height alone. They used a ladder with adjustable height — small, practical, obvious in hindsight — so help could reach the neck without strain or improvisation.
That moment stuck with me: meet the animal where it lives, use the right reach, and keep the work gentle. The giraffe already meant perspective and seeing farther; after that clip, it also meant scaling the approach to the problem, not the other way around.
I paired that symbol with AI — the intelligence, automation, and modern engineering we actually build — and the name GiraffAI landed.
